Steven E. Phelan received his PhD from La Trobe University (Australia) in 1998. He has held tenure track appointments at the University of Texas at Dallas and the University of Nevada Las Vegas, and was recently appointed to the William G. Rohrer Chair in Entrepreneurship at Rowan University, where he teaches courses in strategy and entrepreneurship. Dr. Phelan's research interests include competitive dynamics, organizational architecture, acquisition and alliance performance, and entrepreneurial competence. Prior to joining academia, Dr. Phelan held executive positions in the telecommunications and airline industries and was the founder of Bridges Management Group, a consultancy specializing in strategic investment decisions.
